Sorry you missed out on last year's "lucky" wedding date of July 7,2007 (7-7-07, get it?)? Well, you have another chance in 2008 to "get lucky." August 8, 2008, which comes out to 8-8-08, is considered "lucky" because of all the 8s, which is a very lucky number in Chinese culture. No doubt this year will see the same "wedding frenzy" as last year. So, you might all want to be sure to book venues and wedding services early as places may fill up quickly.
Of course, the obvious choice of wedding venues on that day would be in Las Vegas, but don't forget Atlantic City, Laughlin, Lake Tahoe, Reno or the Riverboat Casinos on the Mississippi.
My choice would be to go with a "lucky" venue with 888 in the address. And do I have one? Of course I do. I searched all day for hotels and resorts with 888 or 8808 in the address. Now, I thought that would be an easy task. But, it's not, as I had tons of venues with 888 or 8808 in the phone number, but not many in the address. But, here's one you might like.
