Unusual Las Vegas Weddings
I have a couple Vegas wedding ideas to throw at you, in case you were thinking about eloping to Las Vegas anytime soon.
First up - Halloween. Yes, Las Vegas celebrates Halloween, and in a big way, with many of the casinos putting on special Halloween-related entertainment, and places decorated in spooky Halloween themes. So, if you want to elope somewhere, and you want to make it fun, consider eloping in Las Vegas on Halloween night!
Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel has several Halloween weddings to choose from, but my favorites are:
Rocky's Horror Wedding:
If you're a fan of the classic "Rocky Horror Picture Show" you must have a Rocky's Horror Wedding. This package includes the Minister Frankenfurter, joined by other characters from movie. Cost for this wedding package is $950 and includes the Main Wedding Chapel, theatrical lighting, fog, wedding music, cast of characters, colonial bouquet and boutonniere, 36 poses & proofs, video, chapel fee, and limo service to and from the wedding chapel. They even throw in a live internet wedding broadcasted for free, so those who can't attend will be able to be there in cyberspace. Minister fee of $60.00 is not included in package price.
Graveyard Wedding Package:
This one's a little cheaper, at $475 (not including the $60 cash for the minister. Oh, and for an additional $150 you'll get an Elvis). With this package their Main Chapel is turned into a graveyard with haunting music andtwo black roses with matching boutonniere. You also get 24 poses and proofs, plus the ceremony on VHS tape, and live internet webcast.

Another Las Vegas Halloween venue worth considering is the Chamber of Horrors at Madame Tussauds, which is located in front of the Venetian.
Elope and Run
If you can't make it for Halloween, maybe you and yours would like to elope during the Las Vegas Marathon on December 2. No need to leave the marathon, as the Run-Thru Wedding Chapel will be open and more than willing to accept your "I do's".
Ceremonies will be performed by a Running Reverend with Elvis runners, family and friends as your witnesses. You do have to apply, and can do so at lvmarathon.com/Wedding.310.0.html
