Juneau Alaska Glacier Wedding
Just came back from an Alaskan cruise and thought the Inside Passage of Alaska would be a great place for a destination wedding. Yes, there are some cruise ships with wedding chapels where you can have your wedding. But, why not opt for something a little more exotic? How about a wedding on top of a glacier?
The Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau seems to be the spot for Glacier Weddings, and I've found a couple ideas you might like.
One is to have your wedding while on a shore excursion to Juneau on your Alaska cruise. One company will pick you up from your cruise ship, take you to the Vital Statistics Office for your license, then helicopter you and your partner to the glacier for your ceremony. The pilot and photographer will serve as your witnesses. You will also receive an Alaskan bouquet and matching boutonniere, as well as 2 rolls of film taken of the ceremony. Champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries will be delivered to your cruise ship cabin.
The cost is $2595 and is intended only for the bride and groom.
